Outside Work

A sketch of the grocery store I work at. I started reading an art book called "The Art of Urban Sketching" by Gabriel Campanario that inspired me to start drawing the city around me. I decided to take advantage of my thirty minute lunch break to go across the street and draw my work place. None of my coworkers were aware I was standing at the street corner for thirty minutes but one of my supervisors did and I had to explain to her I was drawing the store. Sadly I didn't get a chance to prove it by showing but at least she didn't press the issue.
