The End and the Beginning

As I write my thoughts reflect the year I listen to one of my favorite battle themes from Final Fantasy XIV, The Fiend, played during second half of the against the first member of the Warring Triad Sephirot, the Fiend.



"I'm the end and the beginning." A very fitting line to describe the new year. 2016 has been a good year. Towards the later half of the year I managed to quit my job of four years for something a little closer to home. The commute and working hours was just no good. Plus I managed to dodge a bullet not having to deal w the End of the year rush at my old job. A huge plus.

My main goal at least for the start of the year will be to get my first semester back since 2014 down. I shouldn't be too far away from graduating and if I can get the semester down the semesters leading to graduation should be no problem.

I also plan on visiting two of my friends who live in Michigan during Spring Break so that'll be something Ill be looking forward to. Hopefully Ill be able to get my plans finalized withing the next few weeks leading to the start of school.

Finally I plan to continue drawing. I've noticed I've had days where Im unable to draw due to obligations but having consistently drawing since August I've noticed a leap in progress. Hopefully I will capitalize that in the new year. 

And as the year draws to a close let us take a moment to remember the people we have lost this year whether its family, friends or celebrities. I know Im still sad over the loss of Alan Rickman. He will be remembered.
